Sky+ HD Box World Cup 2010 Limited Edition

Sky has announced three Special Edition Sky+ HD boxes to celebrate the FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa this summer.

The limited edition Sky+ HD boxes come with 1TB drive and can store 240 hours of HD programming.

I love the colourful designs, far much refreshing than the dull black boxes.

Sky+ HD Box Limited Edition

The box will cost you £249, and that might just make me keep the Sky+ HD box that I have now.

The boxes feature designs by Gerard Scarfe the famous illustrator and cartoonist and the fashion designer Wayne Hemingway.

One look at the design of his box should remind you that he is the genius behind Red or Dead.

What do you think about the limited edition Sky+ HD boxes?

Sonny Reader: Sonny and Waterstones have teamed up to launch one of Britain’s biggest marketing campaigns for electronic books with the launch of the Sony Reader. It is an electronic handheld gadget that you use to store your books and read on the go. The Sonny Reader looks like a leatherbound novel, it’s smaller, lighter and thinner than the average paperback.

With the Sonny Reader you get 200 megabytes of memory – enough to store about 160 books and the memory can be expanded with memory cards so you can store even thousands more books.

It features a unique six-inch screen design with innovative technology called electronic ink or “e-ink”. This means it only uses power when you turn a page.

Classic Wall – E

The last movie I watched was Kung Fu Panda, in which the fat Panda plays a hero warrior. I would say it was a bit funny, even though my son enjoyed it more than I did.

Even though I would have wanted to watch Will Smith’s Hancock next….I couldn’t all because there is Wall-E, and it seems my son has got the better of me again. I must admit, I now enjoy watching these ‘kids’ movies.

The next movie we are going to watch with my son…….Wall-E. From the reviews and the movie trailers, we are looking forward to watch this new offering from Pixar.

Wall-E, movie critics say is destined to be a cinema classic. A simple robot love story, I just hope it will be fun and enjoyable.
