Sonny Reader: Sonny and Waterstones have teamed up to launch one of Britain’s biggest marketing campaigns for electronic books with the launch of the Sony Reader. It is an electronic handheld gadget that you use to store your books and read on the go. The Sonny Reader looks like a leatherbound novel, it’s smaller, lighter and thinner than the average paperback.
With the Sonny Reader you get 200 megabytes of memory – enough to store about 160 books and the memory can be expanded with memory cards so you can store even thousands more books.
It features a unique six-inch screen design with innovative technology called electronic ink or “e-ink”. This means it only uses power when you turn a page.
You can also easily bookmark pages so you never lose where you are. You can also use it to store your word documents, PDF and picture files and also music files.
The Sony Reader is available exclusively at SonyCentre and also at
Waterstones.co.uk
