This post is about the mistakes that people make in picking a website domain name. But would you recommend changing the domain name of a website that has been operating for nearly one year now? What would you do if you realise that you could have used a different domain name and your Internet business could have been better with a different name.

I have been running one of my websites http://www.townshipvibes.com for nearly a year now. However I have realised that things could have been different if I had used a domain name with one of my targeted keywords in it. I could benefit from the search traffic and other benefits that could come with a different domain name from the one I use.

But what should I do? Should I change to a new domain name and how will that affect my current website and it’s ranking?
