Never felt so much pressure before, maybe if I was a smoker that could have settled my nerves…….at times I could not bare to watch. The rain breaks only increased the pressure, thank God at the end of the day it was the result I was hoping for. At the end of the weekend, it was the sort of weekend that I would want to rewind over and over again….perfect.
I was so disappointed by the Russia girl who lost to Serena Williams in the semi-finals….what a bad loser. In her mind the result of the Wimbledon final was “going to be decided at a family summit”. Why didn’t she beat Serena so that she could decide the result of the final herself………she should just accept that this time around, the rest of the women were not good enough. Was she misquoted? NO, she new what she was saying.
Venus and Serena got to the final and they deserved to be there, and the girls even won the doubles final again on the same day.
As for Rafael Nadal…..he made my weekend. I have never felt so emotional because of sport. Rafa had to win, and when Federer was coming back in the third set…..that was it, I could not watch anymore. Maybe I could have done with a beer. At the end of the day, it was just the perfect result after one of the best tennis finals ever played at Wimbledon.
Lewis Hamilton had messed up my weekends in the two previous races……but he made up for it this weekend. The Boy loves racing in the rain. I was so happy for him.
And there was also the British-Australian girl who won the Junior championships, what a lovely girl, full of potential.

I was pretty disappointed that Federer lost, I mean – “what the heck”, LOL. Any who of the sisters I was supporting Venus, so I was happy with that. Next time Federer – my poor swiss man was left heartbroken.

Sorry your Swiss man didn’t win….to tell you the truth I didn’t want him to win.
Did you see the way he cried last year after he won? Do man cry like that?
