Looks like we are in the middle of summer!
After a long Friday night of beer drinking, it was that hard waking up in the morning. I woke up with a bit of hangover and like I always do, I promised myself not to binge drink again. But the good part is I now know how to sort out this hangover problem. I give myself a long and not very cold shower plus plenty of cold orange juice.
On a hot sunny day in London the temperature is expected to reach a high of 26 degrees. Too nice a day to be wasted because we wait so many months for days like this in London. It’s usually a very cold and boring place to live. A place know for it’s English breakfast and it’s people’s love for Fish and Chips. But with weather like this it becomes nice to be a Londoner.
There a lots of things you can do on a nice day like this. You can got sight seeing in central London on those open top tour buses, have a day at the London Zoo, London Eye. You can mess about in the park with your kids, you can go sun bathing in the park, you can take a trip out to the seaside and enjoy your day at the beaches. For an enjoyable sightseeing day in London and free entry to more London attractions it’s advisable to buy the London Pass, it is an ideal addition to that family holiday, romantic weekend or group trip. Anyone who is travelling to London can enjoy and benefit from it.
But today is just too good a day and I’m going to have a Barbeque of T-bone stake chicken and boerewors (I don’t like the small sausages they BBQ here). Plus my favourite cold Fosters lager in the garden. BBQ is one thing some people like me, Londoners who throughout the year rarely get nice days like this enjoy doing.
One of my favourite blogger Debo Hobo said there is a myth that there are no sunny days in London plus Londoners are not that much into BBQ. Well we don’t get many days like this, but we do like to make the most of them when they come. As for my fellow Zimbabweans in England and all over the world, they all love BBQs and plenty beer. I’m sure Tondie will agree with me(can’t believe I was binge drinking again). Not sure if there are any vegetarians in Zimbabwe? Maybe but not that many.
Well let’s bring down the house, make the most of this beautiful hot day in London. Drink aware…..don’t drink and drive.
I’m always interested in your opinions, don’t forget to leave your comments.

Sunny days in the UK? I have visited that part of the world a few times and every time I have flown in our out it has been raining.
It’s good to see that you guys have sunshine – take full advantage of it. Winter has come hard and fast over here and the mood of the place has changed as well.
And the binge drinking – does anyone ever learn? We just go back and do it again at some point. Orange is good at hangover stage and when over there I like to get stuck into a good old fry up.

@Gerri, now have been having very hot days over the past few days. My son has never been so happy playing football in the park. We have to make the most of it whilst it lasts. As for the binge drinking hopefully one day we will learn.
Never been that part of the world, but I don’t think it gets as cold like England.

26 that would be around 78-79 here in the US that is totally the perfect temp for a BBQ plus the sun make for great poolside swimming and sun bathing.
I too have been known to binge a bit on the drinking and have spoken to the porcelain god many-a-time. And in the morning I usually lay in bed wondering why??? And beg God to take away the headache and embarrassment in exchange for a promise that I’ll never do it again. The worst part is the not know what stupid things I did until a friend calls to rub it in my face.

Debo – Hope one day there will be a permanent cure for hangover headaches.
