What are you reading?

Sorry what a stupid question to ask, off course you are reading my blog.

Just been searching for the next book I should start reading. It’s been some time since I read a good book. The last good book I read is Notes from a Friend by Anthony Robbins.

Then I found the exact book I should be reading, How to Win Friends and Influence People.
So why would I need to do that? Well, they say with this book you can go after the job you want and get it!
You can take the job you want and improve it! You can take any situation you are in and make it work for you! So who doesn’t want to be successful in whatever they are doing?

So, how do you make people like you?

1. Be genuinely interested in other people. Put yourself in their shoes and try to see life from their perspective. Is it that easy to surrender your ego for the sake of another person? You may ask. However that’s reality, it’s one of the fundamental things to do if you want to win over people.

2. Smile! It should not be like a cosmetic, you should mean it. Make that first good impression.

3. You should remember people’s names. It shows you care and respect other people. My fellow man will know what happens if you call your wife by someone else’s name. You are right; there will be no peace in the house.

4. Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.

5. Make the other person feel important.

6. Show respect for others.

7. If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically.

Will probably write another post, during or after I finish reading the book.
